Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of DBBet. Please read them carefully. By registering or placing a bet, you agree to them. This is a plain-language summary of the terms that apply when you use DBBet.

1. Who we are

DBBet ("we", "us", "the operator") is operated by Sport Tech N.V. (Curaçao company no. 163475), licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence number OGL/2024/574/0913. DBBet operates under a Curaçao (offshore) licence and is not licensed by the Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT). These terms form an agreement between you and the operator.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be legally allowed to gamble in your location and must not be excluded by any self-exclusion scheme.
  • You must not be an employee of the operator or a close relative of one.
  • We may ask you to verify your identity (KYC) before allowing withdrawals, in line with anti-money-laundering rules.
  • You are responsible for ensuring online gambling is legal where you live.

3. Your account

  • You may hold one account only. Duplicate accounts may be closed and balances withheld.
  • You must provide accurate, truthful registration details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login and mobile-money PIN confidential. Activity under your account is your responsibility.

4. Deposits & withdrawals

  • Deposits and withdrawals are made mainly via Vodacom, Tigo (YAS), Airtel and HaloPesa, from a minimum of about 1,000 TZS.
  • Withdrawals are paid to a verified account in your name. We do not process payments to third parties.
  • We may apply minimum and maximum limits, and may delay a payout while we complete identity or security checks.
  • The currency used is the Tanzanian Shilling (TZS).

5. Bonuses & promotions

  • Each bonus has its own rules, including wagering requirements, minimum odds, eligible games and time limits.
  • Bonuses are for genuine players. Bonus abuse, arbitrage or fraudulent activity may lead to forfeited bonuses and closed accounts.
  • We may change or withdraw a promotion at any time. The specific terms shown with each offer apply.

6. Betting rules

  • A bet is accepted only once confirmed and shown in your bet history.
  • We may void bets placed on obvious errors (for example clearly wrong odds or "palpable errors").
  • Settlement follows the official result. Specific market and sport rules apply. Accumulators (mikeka) pay out only when all selections win.
  • Cash out, where offered, is at the odds available at that moment and is not guaranteed.

7. Tax on winnings

Under Tanzanian law, a withholding tax may apply to betting winnings, and a 5% excise duty on stakes is scheduled to take effect from 1 July 2026. Rates and how they apply may change — please verify with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). This is not tax advice.

8. Fair play & account closure

We may suspend or close an account, void bets and withhold funds where we reasonably suspect fraud, collusion, use of prohibited software, money laundering, or a breach of these terms. We aim to act fairly and proportionately.

9. Responsible gaming

We support safer gambling. You can set limits or self-exclude at any time — see our responsible gaming page. Gambling can be addictive; please play within your means.

10. Liability

We provide the service "as is". We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including interruptions to the internet, mobile-money services or third-party providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies. Significant changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.
